Josh Leyenson serves as COO of Opus Medical, where he spearheads the company’s operations and finance functions. Leyenson’s favorite aspect of his role is collaborating with exceptional colleagues and driving innovative initiatives that enhance client support.

Leyenson’s extensive background in market strategy and evaluation, M&A, and organization turnaround has provided him with a broad view on the healthcare industry and strategic initiatives to facilitate growth. He draws on prior experience in healthcare consulting and leading private equity backed businesses with demonstrated success in go-to-market, finance, and operational KPI implementation. With a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Leyenson earned his MBA in finance and strategic management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Outside of work, Josh enjoys discovering the next great restaurant with his wife, spoiling his dog, and going on hikes when the weather allows. He also enjoys ruining his weekends by attempting to improve his golf game.
